Readsoft Inks Hefty Deal in US

September 30, 2008: Readsoft has announced that it has signed a new US$750,000 (AU$925,000) deal with a forest products company in the US to accelerate its accounts payable processes and improve efficiency.

Expected to go live in Q1 of 2009, ReadSoft's will be deploying its accounts payable automation solutions for SAP for the firm, and will process 620,000 invoices annually.

The unnamed firm already uses an SAP solution, however, according to Readsoft it realised that it could get more out of this investment and at the same time employ best practices for automating processes within accounts payable if it went with Readsoft’s automation solution.

ReadSoft claims it can help businesses make better use of staff, ensure higher-quality information and gain a range of other efficiencies.

“This order follows an extensive and competitive benchmark and shows the confidence that North American companies have in ReadSoft's ability to deliver a superior solution that meets their requirements”, says Jan Andersson, President and CEO of ReadSoft.

“ReadSoft's accounts payable solutions resides inside SAP and help customers improve quality and productivity while significantly reducing costs, which is a major challenge for all businesses today.”
