Visioneer "OneTouch" scanning to DocuShare

May 12, 2009:With the Visioneer OneTouch Links Software Development Kit (SDK), a link has been created that allows users to scan paper documents, from any Visioneer or Xerox-branded scanner with OneTouch technology, directly into any Xerox DocuShare electronic repository with the touch of a single button.

“Using the OneTouch link to DocuShare, organizations can tightly control valuable information by directing the flow of documents from capture or creation to distribution, to archiving or eventual destruction,” said John C. Gonzalez, director, product management and business development in the DocuShare Business Unit at Xerox.

All documents scanned through any OneTouch Link also have improved image quality instantly through use of Kofax VRS technology which is integrated in Visioneer OneTouch. This is done immediately after scanning so that imperfect original documents are sent to Xerox DocuShare with significantly improved image quality.
