Kofax captures Belgium

June 4, 2009:Kofax Capture software has been awarded certification from Belgium’s Ministry of Finance to become the nation’s first legally-approved capture software for organisations converting to paperless invoice processing systems.

Conforming to the nation’s new regulations governing paper-to-digital conversion, Kofax currently offers the only valid platform available to Belgian organizations seeking to move from paper-based to electronic-only invoice processing. With this shift, incoming documents are digitally captured, processed and archived, with any paper originals or copies being eliminated after scanning.

In securing the certification, Kofax collaborated closely with Belgium-based Onea, a Kofax Certified Solution Provider.“There is a national framework now in place to guide the transition to full-scale electronic invoice processing systems throughout Belgium, and we are pleased to be at the forefront of this movement with Kofax,” said Filip Vranckx, Management Partner at Onea.
