Neverfail 6.0 triples WAN protection

September 2, 2009:Neverfail has launched Version 6.0 of its failover system for wide area networks (WANs).

It now enables a trio of servers to be configured to ensure that localised failures will not bring total network failure. Should either the secondary or tertiary server be called into use, Neverfail will now automatically manage the operation transparently across the three servers.

Additionally, Neverfail Tertiary manages synchronisation between the sites, enabling seamless switchback when the primary systems are restored.

Neverfail WANSmart promises as much as 30 times reduction in bandwidth over the WAN.

An update to the Neverfail 6.0 management console also enables point-and-click configuration of extended rules to protect packaged and bespoke applications.
