Kodak recently announced the release of Capture Pro Software v2.5, adding new functionality for accelerating paper-driven tasks, increasing accounts receivable, claims processing, back file conversions and other applications. New features, including a new application program interface (API) and expanded optical character recognition (OCR), focus on reducing manual operation, increasing image accuracy, and maintaining data integrity.

The new release also enhances the ability to import information from multiple sources, including fax, email, multi-function peripherals (MFPs), image repositories and other scanning devices.
