Hyland Software, the US maker of enterprise content management software, has enhanced its data capture capabilities with the purchase of AnyDoc Software.

Bill Priemer, president and CEO of Hyland, described the combination of AnyDoc and Hyland as “a natural fit.”

Hyland has its own inhouse solutions for template or form-based capture, whereas AnDoc offers more sophisticated solutions such as line item processing for invoices and automated indexing and classification.

“Hyland has been a longtime provider of ECM solutions, including document management, imaging, workflow and case management solutions,” said Priemer. 

“AnyDoc has been a leading expert in the capture space for decades. The marriage of these two product suites provides customers a best-of-breed capture and ECM technology from a single vendor.”
