Speedscan  has announced the acquisition of the Allfiche and Prodata businesses to expand its presence in the Australian document services market.

Speedscan has acquired the intellectual property, systems and infrastructure that support all of the Allfiche and ProData clients. The company will continue to work closely with the clients of both  businesses and have engaged all key staff who support and manage the client solutions. 

Speedscan says the acquisitions measn it is now the largest independent provider of outsourced solutions for document intensive business processes, across Australia and New Zealand. The Speedscan team now exceeds 200 people across Australia, New Zealand and the Philippines.

It says the acquisitions will :

• expand Speedscan’s ability to service   local government and state government

• enhance capabilities in relation to large  format scanning and micrographics

• deliver an operational presence in the  important Melbourne market

• grow Speedscan’s corporate and government client base
