FileNET releases latest addition to IDM family

FileNET has announced Panagon Visual WorkFlo 3.0, a new workflow software addition to its family of integrated document management (IDM) solutions.

It features a new component software architecture designed for managing high-volume business processes in either client/server or Web environments.

The software also provides enterprise customers with the flexibility to quickly change existing workflow applications to address shortened process life cycles.

The Panagon Visual WorkFlo suite is anchored by a flexible open architecture that offers the ability to quickly scale the application to handle the rapid influx of transactions, a situation that can occur when workflow applications are deployed over a corporate extranet. Additionally, the software enables users to track, monitor and measure process productivity and effectiveness.

The Visual Work Flo supports major industry standards, including Workflow Management Coalition specifications that allow applications from multiple vendors to be integrated seamlessly to handle tasks for business processes that span multiple departments or organisations.

In addition it takes advantage of the transaction processing power of Microsoft SQL server. Upcoming versions will support SQL server 7.0.

It further boasts built-in integration with leading business process re-engineering (BPR) products including Meta Software, IDS Prof. and Holosofx.

The Panagon Visual Work Flo family includes client, server and toolkit components, which run on Microsoft Windows. The components are Visual WorkFlo Desktop, Visual WorkFlo Services and VisualFlo Toolkit. For information call 02 9273 9900.
