MXsense Launches Web-Based Email Archiving

November 24 2008: MXsense has debuted a new online email archiving offering designed for Microsoft Exchange and Outlook environments, claiming that it can provide archiving, surveillance, e-discovery and compliance to companies requiring a fully-managed, on-demand and scalable solution.

The company says that its SaaS solution is a non-intrusive and completely transparent platform to preserve an unlimited amount of email, and includes a keyword and Boolean search engine with built-in indexing and archiving features.

There is no client software to install or on-premise hardware and appliances to purchase, and MXsense says that organisations can be up and running in less than an hour, reducing the burden on corporate IT departments.

“Email is the most widely-used form of business communication, accounting for approximately two-thirds of all correspondence, yet access to all but recent email is typically very limited for most users,” says Paul Banco, Chief Executive Officer at MXsense.

“MXsense provides a powerful system to tap into the volumes of information and knowledge captured in email and attachments, and reduces the cost and burden on corporate IT departments at the same time.”

Banco adds that the solution also offers a range of tools for organisations to proactively manage compliance, surveillance and e-discovery initiatives.
