Singapore's growing EDM event

The Electronic Document Management (EDM) Expo, to be held at the Shangri-La Hotel Singapore May 19-21, is the major event in the region dedicated to the imaging, workflow, groupware and records management industries.

Although it is the third year the EDM conference has been hosted in Singapore, it is the first time an exhibtion will run concurrently with the event.

The three-day conference will offer interactive sessions for middle managers, directly involved in their companies' IT/MIS activities.

It will provide a mix of conceptual insights and draws on practical experiences from varied authorities and case study presenters. The conference aims to de-mystify the issues of document management set against a backdrop of evolving technologies.

The event aims to provide delegates with the opportunity to formulate strategies that will result in integration of data, documents and process management.

Day one of the conference/workshops will involve electronic document management, imaging and workflow strategies. Days two and three will feature three industry streams, Stream A: banking, finance and insurance, Stream B: government, oil and gas, engineering, health, telecommunications, defence and legal; and Stream C: Library Information Systems.
