SMS server integrates with Sharepoint

February 12, 2009: Talariax claims the process of setting up an in-house SMS server is a snip with its new sendQuick device, which can also interface to workflows in Sharepoint easily without writing code.

The company says SMS servers are now being brought inside the firwall to provide greater flexibility in interfacing to more enterprise business systems that monitor events, measure KPIs and manage electronic work processes.

“SMS has also become critical in alerting staffs of network equipment failure so reliability of messaging is also a factor why the sales of Talariax sendQuick has grown exponentiallyworldwide” said Talariax CEO, JS Wong.

sendQuick installs in minutes and allows bulk messages to many phones to be sent by a web browser. Any event in a Sharepoint workflow can trigger notifications to a person by SMS, and inbound text messages with predefined key words can trigger certain actions.

There are four models: SendQuick Alert Server, SendQuick Alert Plus, SendQuick Entera or SendQuick Enterprise Server.

The products are being distributed in Australia by Secure Serve and can be tested online at www.womma.com.au
