Better PDF Management for Interwoven

Better PDF Management for Interwoven

April 27, 2007: DocsCorp is showing off its latest Cover Page Routing solution at the GearUp 2007 conference in San Francisco, promising better PDF integration for Interwoven users and streamlined capturing and profiling of scanned content.

The solution enables Interwoven users who have pdfDocs Desktop to scan documents to the pdfDocs Organizer workspace. After this, they can combine documents, change the order of documents or pages and then add comments or redact information inside the one interface.

DocsCorp Senior Vice President Sales and Marketing David Woolstencroft says that this solution makes better use of multi-function devices and increases choice when it comes to integration methods.

Woolstencroft says that users can easily scan and combine documents or scan and profile documents depending on the nature of the task. “The user for example creates a cover page defining how the scanned document should be profiled into Interwoven.

“[They] then simply places the cover page on top of their document and scans the document. pdfDocs OCR converts the scanned document to a text-searchable PDF and profiles it directly into the appropriate client folder or matter.”

"We see PDF management as an integral component of enterprise content management,” adds Woolstencroft. “With pdfDocs, we are able to offer Interwoven users a solution that integrates seamlessly with WorkSite and MailSite software.”
