The practice of software development has undergone a seismic shift. Where it was once the domain of coders, developers, and IT experts able to build applications and automated workflows, the introduction of low-code solution has levelled the playing field and given rise to ‘citizen developers’.

Integration Platform-as-a-Service (iPaaS) is rapidly becoming a fundamental component of enterprise technology stacks. And it makes total sense. The latest Gartner Hype Cycle for Artificial Intelligence (AI) shows a large number of AI technologies are set to reach mainstream adoption within 2-5 years, including edge AI, computer vision, AI cloud services, composite AI and machine learning. However, Gartner research also found that only half of AI projects make it from pilot into production, and those that do take an average of nine months to do so.

Imperva’s 2021 DDoS Threat Landscape Report found the Asia Pacific region was the top target for network DDoS attacks in H1 2021, making up 46% of all attacks. A third (33%) of all network DDoS attacks targeted Taiwan. The Philippines - the number one target in H1 2020 - still featured in the top five but decreased significantly from 35% to 12%.
