IM strategies for govt
IM strategies for govt
The Federal Government's mandate that most of its departments' services be delivered electronically has given the public sector a firm imperative to formulate and implement effective information sharing and management strategies.
Two one-day IM workshops are aiming to help users to develop strategies as the basis of e-commerce, online publishing, knowledge management and customer service.
Workshop one explores document management, workflow, storage and other enabling technologies for IM. Users will apply this knowledge in usage scenario discussions and analysis of government applications, to understand the methods and processes behind developing an IM strategy.
Workshop two examines how IM technologies may integrate with ERP, imaging and storage, and the architecture of these solutions and how they can integrate with legacy systems. As with the first workshop, users will apply their knowledge through discussion of practical examples.
The workshops will tour Australia and New Zealand from February 21-March 31.
